To start, opening the closed floor plan, capturing the natural light from the clerestory window and maximizing it with natural colored finishes elevated the interior. From there, building visual depth through the use of reclaimed antiques reupholstered to be relevant in fawn, tans, chocolates, creams and whites created the effect of warm minimalism. By sticking to this tonal palette, plus injecting notes of classicism with fluted columns, the remodel resulted in an airy atmosphere. It’s now a home that offers tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
